Girly-Bits

We had a marvelously lazy day, capped off by some marvelous grilling.  I hit Central Market for jalapeno cheddar burgers and fluffy pain au lait for Mr. Hall.  I picked up pink key west shrimp, vidalia onions, poblano peppers, cherry tomatoes and zucchini for my kebabs.  The burger turned out great, piled here with some of the grilled onions:

My kebabs were fantastic.  I paired my food with some Vinos Pinol Ludovicus.  The Pinol’s have the best looking wine labels that I’ve ever seen.  And this very affordable wine is great with grilled food, so I’ll be having it again this summer.  And check out Wine Weekly’s Every Day Wine Blog.  It’s one of the best resources for the adventurous, yet budget conscious, wine drinker.

Now we are watching Sweeney Todd.  Ack……  Our other Netflix choices were Sleuth and the director’s cut of Blade Runner.  We thought we wanted something light.  Well, this is light alright.
